West Ham vs Chelsea

Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off will see two London-based outfits go head-to-head.

West Ham will host rivals Chelsea at the Olympic Stadium at 12:30 pm UK time.

Chelsea will kick off in east London looking to maintain their spot atop of the Premier League.

Two draws from five means that Thomas Tuchel’s side have lost much of their lead in the title race, but they still remain one point above Manchester City and two points above Liverpool.

With such a small gap, however, Chelsea can not afford to drop any points this weekend.

And, whilst West Ham are 4th in the division currently, the Hammers have lost two and drawn one of their last three PL ties, suggesting they are struggling for form and, therefore, could be easy pickings for a Chelsea side who still maintain the best defence in the English top-flight this campaign.

Thomas Tuchel confirms four Chelsea stars out of West Ham game

Ahead of the West Ham game, Thomas Tuchel would speak to the press on Friday afternoon.

When doing so, the former PSG boss provided updates on several of his players.

Trevoh Chalobah would pick up an issue during the Blues’ 2-1 win over Watford in midweek. And, when speaking on Friday, Tuchel stated that Chalobah, along with Ben Chilwell, Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante are out of the game.

“We did not train today with Kovacic, N’Golo [Kante], Chilwell and Chalobah. They are all out [of the game at West Ham tomorrow].”

Timo Werner and Reece James are available, however:
